  10. -----------
  11. Included in this package are:
  12. - the game The Last Eichhof.
  13. - all the needed tools to edit new levels and produce data 
  14.   files needed by the game.
  15.   
  16. Not included:
  17. - graphics & sound & levels of the original game.  
  18.   This is about 6 Meg of data.  
  19.   If you want these you can download it from various FTP sites.

  21. Building the game

  23. To build the game you have to use BC++ 3.1 & TASM (version 3 maybe).

  25. Thoughts from the author
  26. ------------------------
  27. Most tools won't be useful to you because they are all 
  28. programmed in a hurry. Bad or even not documented at all, 
  29. only I know how to use them. (I hate them too, don't worry).
  30. The game source might be of better use to you. It's fairly good 
  31. (however far from perfect) commented in the source. 
  32. Just have a look at it. I think if you want to learn to 
  33. programm graphics or sound you better have a look at some 
  34. specialized packages not this one.
